Presenters included the Hon. Leigh Saufley, chief justice of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, who was accompanied by the chief of the Maine District Court, and the representative for the Chief of the Maine Superior Court; Aria Eee of the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar ; and University of Maine School of Law Dean Danielle Conway. John McQuiston, lawyer and author of “Always We Begin Again: The Benedictine Way of Living” gave the key note address. Additionally, Boyle moderated a panel presentation called Notable Verdicts of 2016, which included Shaheen & Gordon Attorney Alexander Spadinger, who discussed his verdict in Travis W. Blair v. The Aroostook Medical Center.
During the annual meeting, Boyle was elected Secretary of the association, continuing the firm’s tradition of leadership and service as established by previous MTLA president Randall Smith, of Shaheen & Gordon
