Born and raised in Maine, Alex has been working to help the local community
since graduating from University of Vermont in 2005. After college he
worked as a case manager for a number of social services agencies in the
greater Portland area that serve adults with developmental disabilities.
In 2008 he enrolled at the University Of Maine School Of Law where he
was a member of the Environmental Law Society, Moot Court Team and an
intern with the U.S. Attorney's office. Alex worked for the law firm
of Smith & Elliott, P.A. while in law school and began working for
them as a full time associate in 2011. Alex joined the Shaheen & Gordon
team in 2014 when Smith & Elliott and Shaheen and Gordon merged.
Alex’s practice is focused on civil litigation and criminal defense.
He represents victims in personal injury and wrongful death cases and
also represents clients facing a wide array of criminal charges. There
is no case too big or too small for Alex to handle. His aggressive, efficient
and detailed approach to every case has resulted in successful outcomes
for clients of all types.
