Regulatory Matters and Licensure
Shaheen & Gordon's Business Practice Group offers clients significant
knowledge about regulatory and administrative law concerning a wide range
of federal and New Hampshire administrative and enforcement agencies,
licensing, litigation in administrative and judicial forums, and structuring of
business transactions. Our attorneys have experience representing clients in securities, banking,
insurance, defense contracting and health care matters, involving federal
and state investigations, professional licensing and regulation, corporate
compliance, marketing and advertising, and consumer protection laws. We
have successfully represented officers and directors, broker dealers,
investment advisors and investors before the United States Securities
and Exchange Commission, the New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation,
and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
We represent hospitals, physicians, oral surgeons, dentists, nurses, social
workers and other health care providers before their respective state
boards. We represent charitable institutions in before the Division of
Charitable Trusts and financial institutions, for profit companies and
individuals in the matters concerning the Banking and Insurance departments.
We have also successfully represented defense contractors in federal investigations
before the Department of Defense. We use the knowledge gained from this

with licensure requirements, improving their business practices through
