A new gaming option may be soon be headed to New Hampshire

At its April meeting, the New Hampshire Lottery Commission unanimously approved the concept of adding a new style of dispenser to sell the Lottery’s instant win scratch tickets in locations that currently sell no Lottery products.

The concept was offered to the Commission by representatives of Diamond Game. Diamond Game of Chatsworth, California, is a manufacturer licensed by New Hampshire for point of sale dispensers.

Shaheen & Gordon Attorney Michael McLaughlin represents Diamond Game and made the presentation to the Commission. The dispensers are intended for restaurants and taverns that do not sell New Hampshire Lottery products. The dispensers require little staff or support and dispense a safe and secure New Hampshire Lottery scratch ticket.

“It’s a way to create more revenue for the lottery and increase sales in those establishments as well as increasing the state’s meals tax revenue,” says McLaughlin.

The commission is will be developing a Request for Proposals outlining the specifications.
