Shaheen & Gordon Draws Three New Attorneys to New Hampshire

Shaheen & Gordon is proud to welcome Attorney Murtaza Akhtar to the firm’s Lebanon office, Attorney Sierra Jamros to the firm’s Nashua office, and Attorney Zach Kuster to the firm’s Concord office.

Murtaza earned his first law degree in the U.K. in 2009 and spent over a decade working as a corporate transactional attorney in Pakistan, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions as well as infrastructure projects in the energy/oil & gas sector. After moving to the U.S. in 2020, he earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. Recently, he was sworn in as a member of the New Hampshire Bar and as a naturalized U.S. citizen. Murtaza will leverage his deep experience in business law and a growing interest in family law to support Shaheen & Gordon’s practice throughout New England.

Sierra is a 2025 graduate of Suffolk University Law School, where she developed a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy and client representation. As a student-attorney, she gained hands-on experience litigating cases and established herself as a capable and dependable advocate. She interned with the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Boston, helping to represent indigent defendants. Sierra is eager to provide tailored representation to family law clients at Shaheen & Gordon.

Zach practiced for several years in New York City, where he proved to be a versatile litigator, handling complex commercial disputes, class actions, and SEC enforcement actions for both large and small clients. His familiarity with all aspects of litigation, from drafting briefs to leveraging the discovery process to cross-examination, provides clients with informed advocacy and peace of mind. Zach most recently served as a law clerk for Chief Judge Landya McCafferty of the District Court for the District of New Hampshire, bringing valuable insight on judicial decision-making and the Federal court system.

Attorneys Jamros and Kuster are currently admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York, respectively. Both have pending New Hampshire Bar applications.

“We’re excited to welcome Murtaza, Sierra, and Zach not only to our firm, but also to New Hampshire,” says D. Michael Noonan, Managing Partner of Shaheen & Gordon. “They will bring fresh perspectives as all of our practice areas grow to meet the needs of our clients across the Granite State and beyond.”

With these additions, Shaheen & Gordon provides compassionate, client-focused service backed by a roster of 68 attorneys, more than 160 total employees, and 10 offices.
