As of 2025, numerous lawsuits have been filed against the Sanofi and Regeneron corporations for failing to disclose that their product, Dupixent, could cause or worsen Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL), a rare form of cancer. Despite multiple studies indicating a link between dupilumab and an increased risk of CTCL, Sanofi and Regeneron have failed to warn Dupixent users of the potential risks.
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with CTCL after taking Dupixent, there may be a connection, and Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. may be able to help you take legal action. Our attorneys can help potential clients throughout northern New England and Hawaii understand their legal options, start claims against Big Pharma, and even go to court for trial when necessary.

Are You Eligible to File a Dupixent Lawsuit?
To be eligible to file a Dupixent injury claim or lawsuit, your case should include medical records that detail:
- Use of or prescription for Dupixent
- A diagnosis of Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL)
- A timeline of symptoms and diagnoses
What is Dupixent?
Dupixent is the brand name of dupilumab, a monoclonal antibody that blocks two proteins in the body (interleukin-4 and interleukin-13) that can lead to inflammation associated with many medical conditions. Dupixent injections are commonly used to treat moderate-to-severe eczema when topical alternatives are not recommended or effective. It can also be an effective treatment for other skin conditions, such as prurigo nodularis. It was first approved by the FDA to treat atopic dermatitis (also referred to as eczema) in March 2017.
Why is Dupixent Dangerous?
Over the past several years, an increasing number of studies have noted that the use of Dupixent (an injection of dupilumab) is associated with an increased risk of CTCL, a significant side effect that has not been disclosed in Dupixent’s product warning labels. Users of Dupixent who already had cutaneous T-cell lymphoma have seen drastic tumor growth alongside their use of the drug as well.
What is CTCL (Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma)?
Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) is a general term for skin-related T-cell lymphomas including (but not limited to):
- Mycosis Fungoides (MF)
- Sézary Syndrome
- Lymphomatoid Papulosis
- Granulomatous slack skin disease
- Pagetoid Reticulosis
Symptoms of CTCL include rashes, dry skin, enlarged lymph nodes, and itching due to malignant T-cells that reside within the skin. In many cases, early stage CTCL only manifests as these skin conditions. However, in others, the cancer can progress rapidly and spread to other parts of the body.
CTCL is especially insidious, as it can initially present in ways that appear much like the symptoms of eczema (atopic dermatitis) Dupixent is meant to treat. Unfortunately, this means that people who develop CTCL may not know it until the cancer has progressed or otherwise lose the opportunity for a timely diagnosis.
Are Sanofi and Regeneron Liable for My CTCL?
Because Sanofi and Regeneron make Dupixent and do not disclose the risk of CTCL, they may be found liable for these cancer diagnoses. As more users of Dupixent discover the link between the drug and CTCL, more suits are being filed against these manufacturers for their negligence. “Failure to warn” is a common type of manufacturer negligence that leads to product liability claims and even class action lawsuits.
How A Dupixent Attorney Can Help
The diagnosis of any cancer can take a significant toll on a person and their loved ones. CTCL treatments include ultraviolet light, steroids, chemotherapy, radiation, and even stem cell transplantation for more advanced cases. Adding a lawsuit on top of it sounds like an additional stressor, but an experienced attorney can help put you at ease and ensure that the legal process goes smoothly.
Dupixent lawyers can help you with all parts of your case, such as:
- Reviewing your claim eligibility during a free case review
- Collecting medical evidence to support your claim
- Preparing and filing the claim before any statutes of limitations expire
- Responding to any inquiries from the defendant(s)
- Attempting to negotiate for a settlement
- Going to trial on your behalf if necessary
