Cooper Larson is a member of Shaheen & Gordon’s litigation practice group and works from the premise that a client’s legal problem is rarely only a legal problem. He takes time to understand the business and the people behind a dispute before recommending a course of action. A background in business administration informs that approach, and he brings careful writing, practical judgment, and steady communication to every matter, so that clients always know where they stand.
Before joining Shaheen & Gordon, Cooper practiced commercial litigation and transactional law in Oklahoma City, handling matters from initial pleadings through discovery, dispositive motions, and trial preparation.
During law school, he interned with the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office and served as a student attorney in a transactional law clinic, providing pro bono counsel to small businesses and nonprofit organizations. He graduated with high honors and received the CALI Award for the highest grade in his Legal Research and Writing course.
Outside of practice, Cooper is a visual artist, an avid record collector, and a lifelong fan of his hometown Oklahoma City Thunder.
