Jessica O’Brien is an Associate in the Concord office of Shaheen & Gordon, where she focuses her practice on civil litigation. She works closely with senior attorneys to represent clients through all phases of the litigation process, from initial case assessment through resolution.
Jessica brings a client-centered, detail-oriented approach to her practice, combining thorough legal research and writing with a commitment to clear communication. She is passionate about protecting the rights of individuals who have experienced civil rights violations, workplace injustice, or harm in educational and long-term care settings, and she is dedicated to advocating diligently on behalf of the clients and communities she serves. Her varied legal internship experience across multiple practice settings, including public interest work, has given her a well-rounded perspective on litigation strategy and a strong foundation for representing vulnerable clients.
Prior to joining Shaheen & Gordon, Jessica gained litigation experience through internships and summer associate positions at several New Hampshire and South Carolina firms, as well as public interest work with The Lawyering Project. During law school, she served as Chief Articles Editor of The University of New Hampshire Law Review and was recognized with the 2026 Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers.
