Christine List advises New Hampshire companies on the legal and business risks associated with developing and deploying artificial intelligence. With more than 18 years of legal experience, she helps clients integrate AI into their day-to-day operations through practical guidance on governance, commercial contracting, vendor risk, intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity. She also helps companies establish clear risk profiles, decision frameworks, and practical playbooks so teams can move quickly and responsibly—without looking over their shoulder.
While AI is a central focus of her practice, Christine applies the same practical, goal-oriented approach to broader business needs including commercial contracting and acquisition readiness and integration. Her in-house and operations experience shapes a practical approach to legal counsel. Having worked closely with leaders and teams across product, engineering, marketing, finance, customer care, and operations, Christine understands that effective advice must work in the real world. Her goal is to help clients make sound decisions and move their businesses forward.
Before joining Shaheen & Gordon, Christine served as Contracts and AI Counsel at Mint Mobile, where she established and led the company’s enterprise AI governance program during a period of rapid growth and post-acquisition integration. She previously served as Vice President and General Counsel of a growing New Hampshire manufacturing company, building its legal function and advising its President and Board. Earlier in her career, she spent a decade as a trial and appellate attorney with the New Hampshire Public Defender, developing the disciplined analysis, judgment, and advocacy she applies to client matters today.
Outside of her practice, Christine is a Michigan native who has called Portsmouth home for nearly two decades. A spin instructor and avid sports mom, she spends much of her free time on the soccer sidelines. She also enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
