Shelby Anderson is an associate in Shaheen & Gordon’s workers’ compensation practice group. She is dedicated to assisting clients through all phases of the workers’ compensation process, including administrative hearings, settlement negotiations, and appeals.
Shelby is passionate about advocating for working people and members of her community as they navigate difficult moments in their lives. While in law school, Shelby honed her advocacy skills as a legal clinician and intern, working on public-interest matters involving the impacts of pollution on surrounding communities. She brings that same commitment to her work with injured workers, helping clients understand the legal process and seek the benefits they are entitled to.
After graduating magna cum laude from Vermont Law and Graduate School in 2025, Shelby returned to her home state of New Hampshire, where she is excited to serve the community where she was raised. Before law school, Shelby spent years as an agricultural worker before eventually owning and operating her own small-scale sustainable vegetable farm in New Hampshire’s Seacoast region. That experience gave her firsthand insight into the demands of physical labor and continues to inform her practical, client-centered approach to representing injured workers.
