Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. proudly announces the hiring of Attorney Bryan Townsend, II, to its Trusts, Estates, & Guardianships Group. Townsend will be working out of our Concord office.
Bryan joins the firm after nearly a decade serving as a prosecutor with the New Hampshire Department of Justice, including more than six years as lead prosecutor of New Hampshire’s Elder Abuse and Financial Exploitation Unit. In that role, he prosecuted offenders who committed crimes against New Hampshire’s vulnerable elderly population statewide. He frequently investigated and prosecuted complex cases involving fiduciary misconduct, many of which involved parallel probate and guardianship proceedings. Bryan now leverages this experience to guide clients through all aspects of probate litigation and estate planning.
“Bryan’s experience as a prosecutor handling elder abuse gives him unique insight into contested estates, while clients doing planning, too, will benefit from Bryan having seen up close how things can go awry,” says Benjamin Siracusa Hillman, Partner and Chair of Shaheen & Gordon’s Trusts, Estates, & Guardianships Group. “It’s his passion for doing right by people that impresses us most. Our clients are certain to benefit from his dedication and skill.”
