We are proud to welcome James J. Armillay Jr. as a member of the Civil Litigation Practice Group.

“James brings a true passion and dedication that will make him a valuable member of our Civil Litigation Practice Group,” says William Christie, Shareholder/Director and Chair of the Litigation Practice Group for Shaheen and Gordon, P.A.

James was most recently a clerk with Judge Thomas I. Vanaskie with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He also clerked with Judge James A. Gibbons for the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Lackawanna County.

In addition to being a member of the New Hampshire Bar, James was also admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. While in Pennsylvania, he served as an executive board member of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Lackawanna County Bar Association.

James graduated Cum Laude from the Villanova University School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Moot Court Board and Clinic for Law and Entrepreneurship. He received his undergraduate degree in Italian Studies and Political Science (International Relations) from Trinity College.
