We’re honored to announce that Attorney Ron Abramson has been named to the 2025 Forbes Best-In-State Lawyers List, which debuted on June 25, 2025.
Ron—Chair of Shaheen & Gordon’s Immigration Practice—is one of just six attorneys recognized in New Hampshire, and the only immigration lawyer from New England, out of seven named across the country.
According to Forbes.com, the list methodology “is based on a rigorous, multi-stage process of editorial research and analysis to identify the finest in the profession.” The honor recognizes Ron’s significant contribution and leadership in the immigration legal field.
Ron began his career with the New Hampshire Public Defender in 1993 before establishing himself as one of the State’s preeminent immigration lawyers and then joining Shaheen & Gordon in 2019. He has successfully obtained all manner of business and family-based visas; has successfully brought cutting-edge post-conviction relief cases in state and federal courts; has taught at local, regional, and national training programs; and has litigated several appeals before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, and U.S. Circuit Courts.
This year, Ron has been involved in several cases that have garnered national attention, including individual and class action suits with the ACLU-NH challenging the unlawful termination of F-1 student immigration status for hundreds of international students in March, 2025.
