Lucie is a junior on the UNH Women’s Hockey team. She is from Brentwood, NH and majors in Business Administration. When she’s getting ready to get on the ice, you might hear her listening to “Say My Name (Remix)” by Morgan Seatree. Join us in saying, “Go LUCIE!”
Jim is a Partner at Shaheen & Gordon and Co-Chair of the Criminal Defense Practice Group. He is a proud Concord native and every winter he can be found enjoying (and usually announcing) the Black Ice Pond Hockey Tournament!
Cy is a senior on the UNH Men’s Hockey team. He is from Brentwood, NH and continues a NH hockey legacy. His grandfather and granduncle are both members of the New Hampshire Legends of Hockey Hall of Fame.

Mike is the President and Managing Partner of Shaheen & Gordon and Chairs the firm’s Personal Injury Group. When he’s not fighting for justice or staring in our most recent video, you might find him enjoying a local theatre production.
Greta is a junior on the UNH Women’s Soccer team. She is from Amherst, NH and someday hopes to meet another NH star—Adam Sandler. When she’s not tearing up the field, she might be keeping her mind sharp with some Nonograms.

Jared is Partner at Shaheen & Gordon and focuses his practice solely on Workers’ Compensation. Before becoming a lawyer, he tried his hand as a chef, and now treats his colleagues to some of the best homemade bagels and ice cream.
Zach is a senior and a defensive end on the UNH Football team. He is from Bedford, NH and he’s majoring in Homeland Security—he’ll continue leveraging his defensive skills to protect more than just his teammates.

Sean is a Partner and Chair of the Business Law group at Shaheen & Gordon. He is a proud UNH alum and attends as many UNH Football games as he can each year. His own claim to sports fame was competing on the U.S. National Rowing Team for several years.
UNH is in our backyard. Many of our attorneys and staff are alumni, as well as our clients and community members. The UNH Athletics teams are something everyone can celebrate and appreciate together. We’re honored to be a part of that energy.
S&G was founded in New Hampshire and now has 7 offices across the state. It’s meaningful to support athletes from our home state. New Hampshire is small, but we raise talented individuals in all areas. We love to see our neighbors succeed and are excited to become a part of their story – whether they go on to professional sports or maybe even go to law school.
But we also know that every member of a team – legal or athletic – is important and brings unique skills and perspective. UNH draws students from around the world to New Hampshire and we appreciate that. We certainly look forward to working with students from other places in the future, but NH felt like the right place to start.
We hope people enjoy it, learn a bit about these wonderful athletes, and continue to support UNH Athletics. We also want people to realize that the law and the lawyers who practice it aren’t so distant from you. The law relates to everything people do, and although here we’re drawing connection through humor – to make it engaging and approachable – at some point in their live, everyone may need a lawyer. Knowing a good one can really make a difference if that time comes.
