Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. is honored to share that Attorney Laura Tetrault has been named an American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) Fellow.
ACTEC is an organization of trust and estate lawyers who have been elected by their peers in recognition of their excellence in the field. ACTEC brings together top lawyers in the profession to maintain a high quality of trust and estate legal services through education, collaboration, and contribution to the improvement of the practice.
To be nominated, one must demonstrate exceptional skill in the practice of trust and estate law, have a sterling reputation, and make significant professional contributions to the field. The candidate must then be elected through a rigorous, twice-yearly polling and review process to earn their place as a Fellow. In this round of elections, Tetrault is the only newly elected Fellow in New Hampshire.
Tetrault has established herself as a knowledgeable and proficient attorney in the field of trusts and estates. A thoughtful advocate experienced in handling cross-state interests and generational wealth, she was named Lawyer of the Year for Trusts and Estates in the Manchester region by Best Lawyers in 2023 and became a partner at Shaheen & Gordon in 2025.
Tetrault also serves as co-chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section and is the former President of the New Hampshire Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Her colleagues in the bar often turn to her for her insight and creativity when it comes to unique and multi-generational trust planning.
