Congratulations to Attorney Anthony Carr, who has been named to the New Hampshire Union Leader’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2025.
40 Under Forty is the Union Leader’s annual recognition of young professionals across New Hampshire who have made significant contributions to their industries and communities. They represent the future of our state. Anthony and the Class of 2025 join 880 distinguished alumni as recipients of this award.
Anthony joined Shaheen & Gordon in 2017 and was elected as a partner just three years later. He is a member of the firm’s Personal Injury Group, pursuing his passion as a social justice advocate working to improve the lives of families and protect them when tragedy strikes.
Most recently, Anthony has been advocating for YDC victims since the story of pervasive abuse in state-run facilities first broke. He has been directly working with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office and other advocacy organizations to see that the state’s proposed settlement fund was fair and respectful of the trauma these victims have faced. He secured the first settlement through the fund on behalf of a client in 2023 and is always available to his YDC clients to make sure they feel comfortable and confident with where they are in the settlement process.
Anthony previously served on the Board of Governors for the New Hampshire Association for Justice and remains an active member and proponent of the organization’s work. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Action Partnership of Strafford County.
