March of 2026 marked Shaheen & Gordon, P.A.’s 45th anniversary. It is a milestone the firm has let pass quietly, looking instead toward the 50th. But at the same time, there is much to celebrate right now.
With 10 offices, more than 70 attorneys, and approaching 200 total employees, Shaheen & Gordon was recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in New England by The Boston Globe in a list published March 18, 2026. Only one other law firm from Massachusetts made it on the list.
“Our growth from two founders and two small offices has been an amazing journey,” says D. Michael Noonan, CEO and Managing Partner of Shaheen & Gordon. “We’re actually not out to be the biggest firm in the world; we’re just looking to find talented people, lawyers and non-lawyers, to take on the work that’s coming our way and do it right.”
Building the infrastructure to support that growth has been a key focus. In 2023, the firm added a Chief Operating Officer, who has since helped build out a full team of HR, IT, Marketing, and other operational staff.
Now, Shaheen & Gordon has again expanded its C-suite to add a Chief Financial Officer – Kevin DiGiovanni. DiGiovanni has over 20 years of law firm experience. He has worked with multiple large firms in Boston, improving financial operations, optimizing treasury functions, and collaborating across administrative teams.
