A 72-year-old woman from Londonderry was tragically killed in a two-car collision in Salisbury. According to Vermont State Police, Joan Dayton suffered injuries in the initial accident and was transported to Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, where she died.
The fatal accident occurred on July 25th at the intersection of Route 7 and West Salisbury Road. Police responded at about 1:13 p.m.
Authorities have identified the other driver involved in the accident as Brian Davidson, 37, of New Haven. Police said his vehicle collided with another vehicle driven by Center Merrill, 77, of Londonderry. Dayton was a passenger in Merrill's vehicle.
All three parties involved in the accident were transported to Porter Medical Center.
